Who We Are

Carly Rorick

Owner

My name is Carly Rorick. I hold an Associates degree in Fine Arts, a Bachelors in Psychology, and was working on my Bachelors for Canine Training and Management. Unfortunately, at this time I have had to discontinue pursuing this degree as family life, this business, and cost of living take precedence. But that does not mean I have stopped learning and continue to look for opportunities to learn more!
As of December 2021 my husband, Josh, and I became first time parents to our son Channing. We are also fur-parents to two dogs (Lotus and Kane) and a crazy cat (Lionel).
My early childhood was spent working with Field Trial English Setters with my grandmother. Throughout the years I continued to work in animal settings, including pet stores.

Carly’s Pet Services was created in June 2019.

Pet First Aid (Red Cross) and CPR (Recover) certified.

Tracie Slade

Pet Sitter

Carly’s mother, Tracie began her journey working with dogs in much a similar fashion. By shadowing her own mother’s work in American Field Trials. By also being raised on the kennel, Tracie was able to acquire first hand knowledge and experience in training and working with dogs.
Although she deviated to human healthcare services as her profession, her love for animals never dwindled and she now has returned to working with them even through retirement.

Kyra Roque

Dog Trainer/Pet Sitter

Hi, I’m Kyra!
I’m the trainer behind Roqué Canine, and I work with dogs and their people through private, one-on-one, in-home sessions. My approach is rooted in modern learning theory and an understanding that behavior doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
I believe training should feel supportive, not overwhelming, for both dogs and humans. Whether I’m working with a new puppy, helping navigate challenging behaviors, or guiding service dog training on a case-by-case basis, my focus is always on clarity, trust, and long-term success.
I work closely with clients to help them read their dog’s behavior, communicate effectively, and build skills that actually carry over into daily life. Every dog is an individual, and training should reflect that.
Training is a partnership. My role is to guide, support, and help you and your dog succeed together.

Pet First Aid (Red Cross) and CPR (Recover) certified.
